<p>Fond&eacute;e&nbsp;&agrave; l'issue de la Premi&egrave;re Guerre mondiale sur fond de crise &eacute;conomique et de p&eacute;nurie de logements, la SCHG poursuit un but &eacute;minemment social&nbsp;: offrir aux bas et moyens revenus ainsi qu&rsquo;&agrave; leur famille, des logements &agrave; des conditions favorables.</p>

<h3>D&eacute;veloppement durable, mixit&eacute; et solidarit&eacute;</h3>
<p>La SCHG g&egrave;re et entretient r&eacute;guli&egrave;rement ses b&acirc;timents. Elle recourt, dans la mesure du possible, &agrave; des mat&eacute;riaux irr&eacute;prochables sur le plan environnemental.&nbsp; Lors de la r&eacute;alisation de nouveaux projets, elle cherche &eacute;galement &agrave; optimiser l&rsquo;int&eacute;gration des b&acirc;timents et des espaces dans le tissu urbain existant et &agrave; favoriser la mixit&eacute; g&eacute;n&eacute;rationnelle et sociale.</p>
<p>La Soci&eacute;t&eacute; encourage les activit&eacute;s men&eacute;es avec un esprit coop&eacute;ratif et promeut la solidarit&eacute; entre ses associ&eacute;s.</p>
